HOW LONG DOES THE TRAINING LAST?
The training lasts 16 hours, divided into 2 days.
WHAT ARE THE PREREQUISITES?
You will need to hold a PSC license.
You can undertake the training from the age of 14.
No special physical training is required.

RESCUE & EVACUATION IN NATURAL ENVIRONMENTS
Obtaining the certificate for Rescue & Evacuation in Natural Environments (SEMN) training will allow you to acquire real and good rescue techniques during your supervision and outings in nature.

This two-day course is for those holding a PSC1 (if you don't have one, we offer you the opportunity to obtain it before your SEMN course).
It is particularly suited to leaders and participants in outdoor activities. Trekking, hiking, riding, and mountain biking clubs will also find the basics to handle any eventuality in the event of an accident in the wilderness. Of course, backpackers and other adventurous travelers, bushcrafters, and survivalists (preppers) will learn essential and easy-to-implement survival and evacuation techniques.
At the end of the course, you will know how to prepare your emergency kit and manage all types of accidents in isolated environments, make a realistic and coherent assessment of the crisis, perform the correct actions to avoid entering a survival situation, and implement appropriate strategies. The evacuation of victims as quickly and efficiently as possible. You will be constantly placed in real-life situations to put your knowledge into practice. Numerous accident simulations in isolated environments will be offered so you can use your various essential tools, find less conventional solutions, and improvise with whatever resources are available to ensure the survival, safety, and evacuation of the injured. The basic techniques of emergency first aid (improvised splint, stretcher carrying, tourniquet, pressure bandage, etc.) will no longer hold any secrets for you!
THE PROGRAM for your 2-day training:
Immersed in nature for two days, you will be made aware of and trained to master the correct actions and attitudes if a member of your group or one of your clients suffers a serious injury such as a wound, fracture, severe hemorrhagic bleeding, burn, sprain, bite, sting, etc.
You will also learn how to:
- Perform long-term care such as cleaning a Injuries, bandages, etc.
- Find solutions and procedures for transporting, evacuating, and exfiltrating victims from a wilderness environment.
- Prioritize, triage, and manage multiple accident victims, information, and situations.
- Understand group dynamics and the importance of the leader's responsibility within the group.
Use communication tools and other technologies to signal your location and distress.
All modules and workshops will be followed by practical exercises closely resembling real-life conditions for realistic and instructive application.
Of course, you will have full board with us!
Our certification: Each trainee will receive a SEMN certificate after an exam at the end of the session. It will be issued by our committee after deliberation, only to participants who have passed the assessments.
