DAY 1
9:30 AM: Meeting point - Welcome of participants - Briefing
10:15 AM: Start of the hike - Foraging - Gathering - Observation of the environment, fauna, flora, geography - Water search
1:00 PM: Theoretical introduction to survival skills
4:00 PM: Arrival at the bivouac site - Making a fire (review of current regulations and, if permitted, we will have a small campfire) - Preparing shelters - Preparing the meal
8:00 PM: Dinner based on foraging and gathering, impressions of the day
11:00 PM: Bedtime in the shelters
DAY 2
8:00 AM: Wake-up - Relighting the fire (all while respecting current laws and regulations, of course). Review of current trapping regulations in France.
10:00 AM: Departure - Dismantling shelters - Cleaning the bivouac area
10:30 AM: Orienteering hike - Map reading - Sun orientation, topography, compass - Snack gathering - Theoretical introduction to active survival.
4:00 PM: Return to the starting point - Review of the past two days - Taking feedback into account - Further exploration of certain points 5:00 PM: End of the course

In harmony and total immersion with nature!
You will be confronted with your fears, your shortcomings, and your anxieties and fears of facing an extreme situation.
It's a true inner adventure, without filters or avoidance solutions!
You'll fulfill a childhood dream by spending a night under the stars in your makeshift cabin!
You will be taught all the fundamental technical knowledge, so that you can gain confidence and autonomy.
You will learn how to quickly set up a bivouac with minimal equipment to spend the night safely. We will teach you how to pack your backpack properly so you are never caught unprepared and only take the essentials for an outing in nature. This will allow you to manage unexpected situations, stay calm, and remain composed. With the goal of acquiring essential knowledge, effective methods, and safe practices for your outdoor adventures, you will learn gently, in a friendly and fun atmosphere, how to prioritize your actions, understand the fundamental rules of wilderness survival, develop the right reflexes in survival situations or unexpected events, and manage an emergency.
But you will find the resources to cope and learn a great deal about yourself. Basic techniques will bring out your resourcefulness, and you will understand how to calmly approach a difficult situation, avoid mistakes in the face of danger, and overcome your stress. You will build your own fire without a lighter or matches, and you will filter and purify your water. The famous campfire will undoubtedly be a time for sharing and connection.

Since nature is our daily environment and our tool of the trade, we are the first to want to protect and preserve it. During our sessions, we will be vigilant in ensuring that our trainees also safeguard nature. We will regularly review the applicable rules and laws to explain, inform, and educate them on the importance of respecting them.
My survival initiation course this weekend in the Gard region was perfectly satisfactory. The instruction from Christophe was excellent, and the organization was flawless. A quick note about Christophe, our survival instructor: he was universally praised for his teaching skills, kindness, and good humor. He enriched our knowledge with his extensive understanding of the local flora and fauna. He's a walking encyclopedia!
I thought it was perfect that we were allowed to create a suitable shelter for the night (orientation due to the very strong mistral wind, design, etc.).

Benjamin is lovely, calm, and attentive. I loved his interpersonal skills and teaching methods. He looked after me while respecting my freedom.
I loved the welcome and the little drink at the end at Mas des Oulles.
Our group was fantastic and that increased my enjoyment of the experience tenfold.
I will remember all my life this bubble of nature, essential, simple and true, a break from the easy and comfortable everyday life which is also very superfluous and distorted by a multitude of digital parasites and false non-essential needs.
A true pause in time, a return to the essentials, a moment of self-reflection. I can only recommend and speak highly of this type of workshop.
A huge thank you to Benjamin for his presence and all the knowledge he shared with us. We would love to repeat this experience, but definitely with him!

Thank you so much for this excellent weekend! The supervision was perfect, the forest was very wild, and the final 4 hours of the course were fantastic. Nature provided us with plenty of plants to eat, the shelters protected us well (well done, guys!), and we all had our moment of glory…

No complaints whatsoever: Mike Horn had better watch out! The course is very comprehensive and straightforward, without any fuss or overly technical jargon. There's no showy display, and that's quite rare. Wonderful sensations that reminded me of my youth in scout camps. The environment of your internship / landscapes / nature - perfectly satisfied... The diversity of the flora was superb, the view breathtaking, and the high point used for learning about the stars was ideal. I absolutely loved this moment in nature.
