General route
Throughout the entire trip, you will discover the wonders of our beautiful natural environment ! You will arrive in southern Thailand, then travel to an archipelago and finally to YOUR deserted beach, far from the tourist crowds . Rest assured , we will take you where others don't go. Your survival course will take place in an authentic and pristine environment of breathtaking beauty , with its stunning marine life, turquoise waters, and idyllic white sand beaches fringed by lush vegetation and coconut palms. You will explore YOUR island, discovering vines, mangroves, surprising trees, and all sorts of wildlife...
You will learn to work with nature and understand how, and where, you can gather the resources you need to survive.
In short... a superb adventure.
TYPICAL ITINERARY (subject to change)
DAY 1 - "Arrival in Southern Thailand"
We invite you to check into a hotel (to be determined) near Reach Kuraburi Pier (north of Phuket and Krabi) for your first night. The evening will be dedicated to meeting the group and your French-speaking survival expert. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 2 - "The Adventure Begins"
After a briefing on the fundamentals of survival, you will check your gear before departure (no fire, no food, no phone...). In the late morning, transfer to Reach Kuraburi Pier where a boat will be waiting for you after a typical lunch to take you to your island. You will need to cross the mangroves and then the island from East to West to reach the beach where the "survival camp" will be set up for 5 days and 4 nights. YOUR SURVIVAL COURSE BEGINS! Evening and night camping, completely self-sufficient. Your other luggage will be transferred to your hotel upon your return.
DAY 3 - "In survival mode…" You'll need to organize yourselves to set up or modify your bivouac, make your fire, craft your tools, assemble your bamboo furniture, observe the vegetation, work on stress management, forage for a "local" dinner, etc. Evening and night in the bivouac. DAY 4 - "In survival mode…" The day will unfold at nature's whim. Seawater distillation, animal spotting (sea turtles, monitor lizards, otters, wild pigs, etc.), searching for edible plants and fruits, opening coconuts, learning trapping techniques... Evening and night camping.
DAY 5 - "Survival Mode Continued" The machete will be your best friend, and you'll begin to get a feel for the island. Your newfound knowledge will allow you to catch your first fish. Making fire without a lighter will no longer be a mystery... expect some wonderful moments and small victories! The last evening around the campfire as the sun sets will be magical. Sharing, reflecting, feeling nostalgic, and craving a good meal are on the agenda! Last night camping.
DAY 6 - "The Liberation" You and your tribe will have become true Robin Crusoe. After dismantling everything, cleaning the beach, and storing all the collected trash in bags, our "boat" will pick you up first thing in the morning. We'll take you to a charming, luxurious, and authentic lodge on the neighboring island where a hearty meal will be served promptly (shower, Wi-Fi, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, bed, chair, electricity… pure luxury!). The day will be dedicated to… rest, enjoying a series of meals, swimming, and digestion. Overnight in a bungalow.
DAY 7 - "Relaxation" After breakfast, this day is perfect for relaxing and recharging. You'll have the day free! Choose between sunbathing, a hearty meal, and snorkeling to discover coral reefs, clownfish, and maybe even turtles if you're lucky. Optional: a day trip by boat to the Silimanet Islands and a visit to the Moken village to meet its inhabitants.
DAY 8 - "It's the end…" After breakfast, you'll be transferred by boat back to the mainland, where everyone can head home, their heads full of memories!

Testimonials and photos from the internship
Jean-Louis Etienne

I've been back for a week now... 😢
Thank you for everything! This internship was an extraordinary experience worthy of Mike Horn. Magnificent landscapes, a fantastic team, and Robin... perfect. So many wonderful discoveries and beautiful new friendships. You can mark everything on the questionnaire as completely satisfied!
I'll re-sign as soon as I can. In the meantime, perhaps we'll meet in the Lot (near you, I believe) where I have my country house. Best regards.
François

I felt like I was living in a waking dream; the colors and smells were so wonderful. It's a little corner of paradise that Denis showed us! The deserted beach, the coconut palms and multicolored fish, the white sand and wild cassava will remain etched in my memory forever!
Anatole

El Nido is truly a little paradise on earth - congratulations to all of us for managing to survive in such a beautiful place! I won't soon forget the "end of internship" party, the magnificent sunsets, our wonderful encounters, and all the survival techniques we learned to win on Koh Hanta!
Jean and Lucyle

This was my first time flying, but what a trip! I think I did pretty well for a first time. Three planes, the magnificent island of Palawan, a "secret and deserted" internship location, an experience with fantastic teammates, an amazing return to "civilization," and a " comeback" to France with my head full of memories. A huge thank you to Denis for giving me the travel bug.
